Sunday night brought together some of the Hollywood celebrities at the event of the People’s Choice Awards.
One of the most shocking things about the eve was the black comedian Kevin Hart made appearance after experiencing a destructive car accident in September in September in Calabasas, California.
The 40-year-old Hart’s spine was fractured in the mishap and has since been in recovering., while fans warmly welcomed him at the grand night of People’s Choice Awards.
Hart said, “Thank God because I definitely don’t have to be here,” as he took the stage to receive the award for comedy act of the year.
Mister black guy added, “Being that I am, it makes me appreciate life even more — appreciate the things that really matter, family. I wanna thank my wife and my kids … I want to thank you all for being there for me during my difficult time.”
However, other renowned celebrities were awarded including Kim Kardashian and her sisters won reality show of the year, Gwen Stefani, who received the Fashion Icon Award and Robert Downey Jr. bagged male movie star for his performance in “Avengers: Endgame.”
One of the versatile singers in the world Pink was also among the winners who attained a People’s Champion of 2019 award.
She explained, “I grew up in a family of activists and I know that one person can make a difference,”
She continued, “You feel like your life doesn’t matter, get involved. I don’t care about your politics, I care about your kids. Kindness today is an act of rebellion … there is a planet that needs help. Stop fighting each other and help each other.”
Adam Sandler brought a really emotional moment as he was invited to give the title to his good friend, Jennifer Aniston of the Icon Award. One of the best American comedians praised her and called her “nice” in 10 different ways in his tribute that was actually delightful.
