Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that his administration looks upon holdup in the completion of government works like criminal negligence. He has also declared eight crore fake beneficiaries’ elimination of government schemes as well as increased employment with the formation of 1.20 crore jobs in a year.
On Monday, by addressing at the Rising India summit held by CNN-News 18, Indian PM said indicating the opposition leaders coming together, saying their only purpose was to put down and bring into disrepute him.
Mr. Modi also explained by ensuring that his government is honestly working on money is being paid by truthful tax-payers. He also said citing his administration holds schemes like Jan Dhan Yojana and Aadhaar, Modi mentioned their efforts have brought fruitful results saving over Rs 1,10,000 crore of public money from going to “fake beneficiaries”.
The Indian PM added saying through their Jan-Dhan scheme have opened 32 crore new accounts, and linking to Aadhaar and has eliminated mobile numbers as fake beneficiaries.
Modi said, “There were eight crore fake names and eliminating them has resulted in a saving of Rs 1.10 lakh crore. This amount was going into the pockets of middlemen every year, while our government has sent Rs 6 lakh crore directly into the accounts of beneficiaries of government schemes,”
Modi also referred to former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi’s remark that only 15 percent of every rupee sent by the Central government reaches real beneficiary. He continued saying that at this time 100 percent of the money dispatched is reaching them.
The 14th Prime Minister of India since 2014 also told that interests of people have been hurt by publicizing of leakages are distress with him. It also mentioned during his speech, in which he pointed out Congress stating some of its officials had also decided to knock knock at the Supreme Court’s doors opposing Aadhaar.
Mr. Modi further described that their government launched Aadhaar with the goal to stop looting money of his beloved citizens were pocketing Rs 1.10 lakh crore but no more yet.
