According to people who frequently consume Kratom, it serves as a mood enhancer and painkiller which vanishes their fatigue and this is what compels them to use it again and again.
Different forms of Kratom
Local method
Since Kratom is obtained from tree leaves, it can be used in many different ways. For people in South Asia, Kratom leaves are chewed directly after they are plucked, but with their veins removed.
The dried leaves can also be chewed, but this mostly depends on the user and how they prefer it. Kratom can be crushed to be made available in the powder form and this how it is commercially sold.
Oral or powdered form
Even though the most common and easiest method of using the powdered form of Kratom is orally, by taking a spoon full and swallowing it with water, butthe crushed, powdered form can be dissolved in water and drinks and is easy to use and mostly preferred by different people.
While it is completely safe to consume it with water, if you mix Kratom powder with different fruit juices like orange juice or citrus juice, it doubles the effect of Kratom and activates the alkaloids, boosting its intensity.
Kratom Capsules
Another convenient way of using Kratom is in the form of capsule and compressed tablets. The capsule will also be filled with Kratom powder but that’s just about how different people like it.
Tincture and Extracts
Other than that, Kratom can also be converted into extracts and tinctures for usage. It is also a potent method of using Kratom. Kratom extract tinctures can also made at home but if not added in the proper ratio, it can decrease the alkaloid content which is the main thing that makes Kratom an effective herb. This means that it won’t be very effective and would not provide your desired results.
All of these methods are just different ways of using Kratom and completely safe whatsoever.
Kratom Tea
One upcoming and modern method of taking Kratom is by making Kratom tea and drinking it. This tea is becoming moderately famous especially in the United States where people basically live off teas and coffees.
Kratom tea is made by brewing the leaves plucked from the trees where Kratom leaves originally stem from, or simply dissolving crushed Kratom powder in boiling water.
