Facebook users have been facing blackout across the world since around 12 pm ET (4 pm GMT) Wednesday. However, four biggest social online platforms like Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, and Facebook are suffering from some problems, according to Downdetector website.
According to latest reports, these world’s largest social companies’ applications have been reporting with some messages sending errors, through Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp users can also easily access news feed, products, and other features on Mark Zuckerberg’s platform as some services have been restored successfully.
On the other hand, Instagram recommenced service shortly after delay until midnight, while the app posted a tweet through its official Twitter account.
Millions of users from the Americas and Europe of Facebook and Instagram have also been experiencing problems. Even Facebook-owned Oculus VR is also undergoing problems related to the outage or blackout.
Spokesman Tom Parnell announced via email, “We’re aware that some people are currently having trouble accessing the Facebook family of apps. We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible.”
Parnell continued, “We’re focused on working to resolve the issue as soon as possible, but can confirm the issue is not related to a DDoS attack.”

Downdector revealed for a disturbance in service of these social applications that commenced in several regions of the United States, as well as the east and west coast divisions of Australia and in Europe. It is also mentioned to be users from New Zealand also claimed for issues.
However, current shutdown in services of Facebook’s desktop site and app both remained disturbed although most of the users discovered a message that Facebook was down for “required maintenance”.
Facebook administration hasn’t made public reasons behind the outages that is being experienced since 2.15pm ET. While it also users away from to learn which regions were affected.
Nonetheless, Google has also suffered from outages around the world on Wednesday, though the users reported issues using Google Drive, Hangouts, Google Maps and Gmail for a number of hours.
Logically, social media users took Twitter to announce their concerns for Facebook’s rival.
