He was born Vincent Neil Wharton on February 8, 1961 in Hollywood, California, United States. She is an American musician, who better known as the lead vocalist of heavy metal band Mötley Crüe that he co-founded in 1981.
Career
He is son of the Shirley and Clois “Odie” Wharton, while Neil emerged performing with his band Rock Candy in 1979, and associated with Mötley Crüe in 1981. He was the friend of Tommy Lee in high school, while was seeking a lead vocalist at the time and they founded Neil better option after hearing him through Lee.
Mötley Crüe released its first album titled “Too Fast for Love,” in 1981 including other hit releases throughout the decades such Shout at the Devil in 1983, 1985’s Theatre of Pain, hit Girls, Girls, Girls, in 1987 and their highest-selling album entitled “Dr. Feelgood” in 1989 establishing the quartet as one of the biggest hard rock-metal bands of the ’80s.
The band next release was first compilation album Decade of Decadence 81-91, and here starts Mötley Crüe’s quit to Vince Neil in February 1992.
After split to the music band, Neil decided to work on his solo career, and released “Exposed,” his first solo album was released in 1993.
The album listed at number 13 on the Billboard charts, while the album contained members like Steve Stevens as bass and guitar tracks on “Exposed”, Robbie Crane, Dave Marshall, and Vik Foxx. They all eventually went on tour, opening for Van Halen.
