William Maher professionally known as Bill Maher was born on January 20, 1956 in New York City, New York, United States to William Aloysius Maher Jr. and Julie Maher. He is an American comedian, political commentator and television host. He completed his schooling from Pascack Hills High School in Montvale in 1974.
Maher began his career as a comedian and actor, earlier in his career he hosted New York City comedy club Catch a Rising Star. He has also appeared on Johnny Carson’s and David Letterman’s shows.
