Paul Duane Beauregard better known by his stage name DJ Paul is an American rapper, record producer, DJ, songwriter and entrepreneur from Memphis, Tennessee. He was born on January 12, 1977 in Whitehaven, South Memphis, Memphis, Tennessee, United States.

Career

He is now considered as one of the famous and best rappers all around the world. Paul started his career in the late 1980s as a DJ. In 2018, he produced the track “Talk Up” featuring JAY-Z off Drake‘s 5th studio album, Scorpion.

DJ Paul released a number of solo albums Underground Volume 16: For Da Summa (2002), Scale-A-Ton (2009), A Person of Interest (2012), Volume 16: The Original Masters (2013), Master of Evil (2015) and others.

He is a founding member of hip-hop group Three 6 Mafia,going on to achieve national success in the late 1990s and early 2000s. Their album, When the Smoke Clears: Sixty 6, Sixty 1, debuted at number six on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified platinum.
